In 2009, the Ugandan Christian Evangelist and Director of Eschatos Bride (Abagole ba Yesu) Choir was honoured with a Doctorate qualification by a USA based University in conjunction with Uganda's Kayiwa International University having produced various pieces of creative writing of Gospel songs found on the 120 Eschatos Bride/Abagole ba Yesu Choir albums/programmes. He wrote and published 2 books, namely,

A Special Church Service was held towards the end of the year 2009 at Namirembe Cathedral in Kampala, Uganda where many tributes were shared. Mr Patrick Bakka Male (Dr & Mrs Kibalama's son-in-law) was the Master of Ceremony at this very special occasion. Mrs Molly Kibalama Bakka Male, Mr John B. Kibalama and Ms Sarah M. Kibalama are among the children who were able to attend to celebrate their father and his achievement. Various choirs, such as Calvary Cross Choir, etc attended the occasion to celebrate Dr & Mrs Kibalama as well as Eschatos Bride Choir.
