ABOUT THE ESCHATOS BRIDE (ABAGOLE BA YESU) MUSIC ALBUMS

 

The Eschatos Bride Choir is an Evangelical Ministry whose foundation verse is as follows:

 

John 3:16-21 New King James Version

¹⁶ For GOD so loved the world that He gave HIS only begotten SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved.

 

¹⁸ “He who believes in HIM is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten SON of GOD. ¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that the LIGHT has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than LIGHT, because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing evil hates the LIGHT and does not come to the LIGHT, lest his deeds should be exposed. ²¹ But he who does the TRUTH comes to the LIGHT, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in GOD.”

 

The Choir has been in existence since 1963.

The way it works, is that the albums are produced according to seasons, that is to say, Christmas and Easter season, therefore 2 are usally produced each year.

Then, since the advancement of technology, the songs are uploaded to flash USB which can be purchased from the Uganda Bookshop in Kampala or from the Eschatos Bride (Abagole ba Yesu) Studio located in Kalambi. These can be used in radios, computers, laptops. This seems to be the preferred way in this day and age.

The albums are now called Programmes, that is to say that, there is now Programmed 1 to 120. These used to be called EBs however they are now called Programmes, Each programme contains about 10 to 12 pieces of music. Only in few cases will you find more. 

The programmes follows our progress since the choir started 57 years ago (as per October 2020). This means that we did not use instruments from the beginning at all. Even today, we use pianos, drums and organs here and there. So, we are vocal singers mostly. 

The flash USB that has the lowest number of songs or the least amount of content usually has 5 programmes, that is to say, approximately

• 5 x 10 pieces of songs = 50 pieces of songs
• or 5 x 11 pieces of songs = 55 pieces of songs
• or 5 x 12 pieces of songs = 60 pieces of songs

 

Furthermore, the programmes are arranged to suit Luganda, English and Kiswahilli, Runyankore, Luo and Lusoga languages while mostly the first two above. Some programmes are mixed.

 

Again, some programmes have recorded live sermons in Luganda while some commentaries on the presentations of music to follow them. Mind you, we are an Evangelical, here to emphasise the MESSAGE from JESUS the CHRIST to our listeners, so that they may know HIM for HIS LOVE to save those who can believe on HIM.
